Impact of Demographic Structure on Economic Development of Ukrainian Coastal Regions

The main aim of our paper is to study peculiarities two periods, i.e., the pre-conflict period (2004–2013) and conflict (2014–2018), in context impact demographic structure population on economic growth development coastal regions Ukraine. In first step analysis, we investigate relationship between shifts selected indicators, using Pearson’s correlation coefficient. next focus quantification indicators variables, based panel model with fixed effects. received results confirm that influence stricture state changed significantly comparison period, especially concerning income, unemployment, openness economy. Additionally, findings show while differences existed Azov Sea Black they disappeared due deterioration during period. It concluded war affects adversely population’s structure, which inhibits Ukrainian regions.
